Since its inception in 2007, RBS Foundation India has supported over 131,000 families in 1,100 villages in 13 states across India by developing household enterprises that have ensured their financial independence and sustainable livelihoods. Household enterprises range from handicrafts, poultry, and dairy, and sericulture, apiculture to improved agriculture practices that enable a household to use their inherent or developed skills to earn income. The project beneficiaries i.e. the village households are provided vocational and capacity building training and equipped with financial and market knowledge. Project support has helped in realizing women empowerment, youth employment, financial inclusion, environment conservation for some of the most remote areas in India.
